Physician Portal Password Policy Changes – Effective August 5, 2016

In August 2016, a new password policy change became effective. Mandatory information required on the account profile supports enhanced security:

  • Three security questions with answers
  • Email address
  • Date of birth
  • Last four digits of Social Security Number (SSN)

The security questions and answers as well as the four digits of the SSN are only visible to the vendor, not to DeKalb Medical information technology staff. An added security measure is deactivation of the account if a physician does not log in within 30 days.

Self Service Password Change functionality has been added.  If you forget your password or feel it has been compromised, click on the Password Reset Request link.  You’ll be asked to enter identifying information – SSN digits and date of birth. A temporary code with directions to reset the password will be emailed. This code is only good for 30 minutes and you will answer your three security questions to complete the change.
