Dr. Patel received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida where he majored in Biology, with a minor in Education. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine located in Portsmouth, Dominica, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Patel then returned to Florida to complete his Internal Medicine Residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center. During residency he served as Junior Faculty for University Of Central Florida and in his last year he served as the chief resident.
He is a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians. He most recently worked as an internal medicine hospitalist and decided to switch to primary care to fulfill his goal to practice preventative medicine.
His special medical interests include hypertension, Diabetes, heart disease and preventive care. He speaks fluent Hindi and Gujarati and is accepting new patients.
Dr. Najam received her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees from Dow Medical College in Pakistan. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville and fellowship training in Rheumatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In the few years to follow, she continued short courses in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Dubai, as well as the American College of Rheumatology.
Prior to joining DeKalb Medical, Dr. Najam was the Attending Rheumatologist at United Regional Physicians Group, which is affiliated to United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX.
Dr. Najam is board certified in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been in this profession for over 16 years. Her clinical interest is in general Rheumatology, and she can deal with complex rheumatologic diseases. She is also trained to do Ultrasound in management of her patients. Dr. Najam is also a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and a present member of the Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America (APPNA) and Wichita County Medical Alliance.

Dr. Lee L. Grose has been practicing medicine in Georgia since 1999 and is the newest physician to join Snellville Family Medicine. He graduated with his Doctorate of Medicine and Master’s degree honor in Medical Science from the American University of the Caribbean. Ashraf Khan, M.D., comes to DMPG and Atlanta Vascular Surgery with board certification in general surgery and an accredited fellowship training in vascular and endovascular surgery. He received his medical degree from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India. Dr. Khan completed an internship, residency and chief year in general surgery at Saint Louis University in St. Louis in 2014. He has also completed an accredited vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis where he gained extensive experience in the latest endovascular and open vascular surgery techniques including hybrid operations.
He has also received certifications in FLS, ACLS and ATLS. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and a resident member of the American College of Surgeons.
His interests include endovascular and open repair of aortic ( thoracic/abdominal ) aneurysmal and occlusive disease, carotid artery disease, lower extremity revascularization with emphasis on limb salvage, mesenteric revascularization and vascular ultrasound. He is a dedicated surgeon with passion for his work and a commitment to provide the best care available to each patient he has the opportunity to treat.

Charles Shieh, M.D. has joined Michael Stubbs, M.D. at Thoracic Surgical Specialists of Atlanta. Dr. Shieh is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Shieh completed his residency in General Surgery at Lankenau Medical Center in Philadelphia and clinical fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Zachary P. Cohen, M.D. joins Drs. Humphries and Ramshur at Oak Grove Family Medicine. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Atlanta-based Emory University School of Medicine. He is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who also completed a two year fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona .
